My Bio:
Hi, I’m Trenton. I believe that forging strong connections can help us all build the skills and strengths we need to persevere in the face of our challenges. I seek to be a generous, compassionate partner in helping others discover and embrace their authentic, integrated selves. In creating an inclusive, welcoming environment, I draw upon my lived experience with cultural differences, neurodiversity, blended families, and differing gender identities and sexual orientations.
After following my own therapeutic journey, I came to the field of counseling from 20 years working in nonprofit communications. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Social Work from the University of Kentucky with a specialization in Trauma-Informed Practice. Previously, I studied English Language and Literature at the University of California, Berkeley, and Nonprofit Communications at the University of Illinois, Chicago.
When I’m not at work I can be found enjoying nature, gaming with friends, and spending time with my two beautiful children and a fuzzy muppet of a dog.
