My Bio

Hello, my name is Tobias. My therapeutic work focuses on creating a trauma-informed space that empowers clients to enthusiastically pursue their healing in the most authentic way possible. I incorporate mindfulness and somatic interventions into my work, and I trust the healing capabilities of the Mind/Body connection. I am a strengths-based, person-centered counselor, encouraging clients to use self-reflection and develop self-awareness in their healing process.

I hold a master’s degree in professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis and Clark Graduate College, with a focus on Addictions. I am intrigued by the intersections of past trauma and addictive behavior, and I’m interested in alternative modalities of healing post traumatic stress. In my previous career, I worked in the fitness industry, so much of my therapeutic practice focuses on helping people tune in to their physical bodies and better understand how the mind and body work together to help us thrive!

My therapeutic approach centers on developing resilience and grit, increasing self-belief and honing a sense of purpose that helps clients navigate challenges in the most effective way possible. I encourage clients to avoid their comfort zone and embrace discomfort that leads to growth. This work will be uncomfortable, but we’ll face this journey together!
