My Bio

Hi there, and welcome. What a brave and meaningful first step you’ve taken in finding your way here. Seeking support is an act of courage, and finding the right teammate for your journey of healing and self-discovery deeply matters. I’d love to share a little about my background and approach so you can get a sense of whether we may be a good fit for your path.

My professional journey began in British Columbia, where I studied the movement of the body through an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. From there, I deepened my understanding of embodied healing by becoming a massage therapist and bodyworker, spending the last 11 years working closely with thousands of clients. Through that work, I witnessed firsthand how profoundly interconnected the body, mind, and spirit truly are—and how physical and emotional wellbeing continuously shape one another.

This realization led me to continue my graduate studies at Naropa University, where I focused on counseling, mindfulness, and transpersonal psychology. Along both my academic and clinical path, I could not ignore the pervasive impact of trauma in our society. I went on to complete advanced training in Process-Oriented Psychology and Shame-Based Studies through the Santa Fe Institute, as well as a three-year intensive Somatic Experiencing training focused on trauma and nervous system regulation.

My approach to healing is rooted in the belief that transformation begins through cultivating a compassionate relationship with our whole being. Trauma healing is not solely a cognitive process—it requires developing the capacity to notice, listen, and become deeply acquainted with ourselves through our inner experience. Just as we learn to be present with another person in relationship, we learn to be present with ourselves.

I draw from somatic, expressive, and depth-oriented approaches—including shadow work, drama therapy, earth-based practices, and shamanic-informed methods—while working with trauma and abuse through a compassionate, non-shaming lens. My work is grounded in the understanding that the body is always moving toward completion, regulation, and wholeness when given the right support and conditions.

Together, we orient toward the innate wisdom and resilience of your whole system—body, mind, and spirit—creating space for deeper connection and meaningful change.

I am an adventurer at heart and desire to experience life in the depths with as much play as possible. I feel most at home in nature and sharing delicious food with good company. Coming home to my body and nervous system has allowed me to trust my impulses, feel freedom to pursue my dreams and experience them with a sense of aliveness. For me, this is one of the greatest rewards of this work.
