My Bio

I believe in a collaborative, empowering, person-centered approach to counseling that is backed by research and regards clients as the experts of their own stories. I regard all of my clients as individuals by devoting time and energy toward building a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship, and tailoring your therapy to suit your unique needs. I am committed to cultivating a nonjudgmental space in which you feel safe, heard, believed, and supported. I practice from a Psychodynamic, Existentially informed orientation, and like to incorporate Narrative Therapy, ACT, Compassion Based Therapy, and Somatic interventions into my approach, while always practicing from a trauma informed and social justice oriented lens.

My areas of special interest lie primarily in PTSD/trauma, perinatal mental health care, religious trauma, identity work, and relational concerns; but I am eager to work with any and all clients who are willing to take the leap into their mental health healing journey with me. I do not take the courage and vulnerability that is required to begin therapy lightly, and I thank you for your trust.

I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling.

Outside of my role at ITTC, I am an avid bookworm and yogi. I am passionate about art, music, poetry, and good food. I am a profoundly relational person, which shows up in my work as a therapist as much as it does in my life outside my work. It is an immense privilege to be where I am now, getting to witness and support people as they heal and grow.
