My Bio

I believe that therapeutic connection with another human being is a vital component to helping you access your innate healing abilities and reach an optimum state of mental health. It is my intention to meet you where you are and together develop goals that align with your individual needs and perspective on life. I utilize an integrative, compassion-centered, and strengths-based approach grounded in humanistic and person-centered theory. I believe that an essential quality to integrative therapy is acknowledging the innate wholeness within the mind, body, and spirit connection and the role it plays throughout the therapy process. I hope to build a therapeutic relationship and connection where you feel safe and can be supported in creating the awareness, knowledge, and practical skills for your growth and healing. I believe that, ultimately, you are the expert in your experience, and I look forward to walking with you on your therapeutic journey.

I completed my master’s degree in Counseling at the humanistic and holistically focused Saybrook University. I also have many years of experience in and hold certifications in a wide array of holistic modalities that help inform my perspective, presence and clinical practice, such as yoga/meditation, spiritual coaching, counseling & mediumship, emotional recovery, and reiki. I have also spent many years exploring the expressive arts. Before reorienting my life into holistic studies and practice in 2007, I worked as a mechanical engineer specializing in noise and vibration refinement in the automotive field. Over thousands of hours of seat time in vehicles, I learned to refine my skills of tuning into the subtle energies of systems. I have used it ever since in all my holistic work. If one thing I believe is constant in life, it’s change.

When I am not working, you may find me exploring the outdoors, hugging a tree, traveling, spending time with loved ones, finding new local eateries and coffee shops, walking with my dog, enjoying or participating in expressive arts, reading, LGBTQIA2S+ advocacy, and listening to all kinds of music that move me or catching a movie or a favorite show.
