My Bio

Hello, I am happy that you are here! Taking the first steps in your mental health journey can feel overwhelming at first, but continually showing up for yourself will begin to feel both natural and empowering. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process that starts with you, just as you are. My purpose is to support clients as they meet their goals, take control over their lives and radically embrace their authentic selves. I hope to help you discover the resources you already possess and offer some new ones that can help foster a deeper connection between mind and body.
I am currently an intern, working on my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with a focus on Somatics and Nature-Based Therapy at Prescott College in Arizona. Nature has been my biggest healer as I’ve addressed my personal mental health, and I hope to introduce you to ways you can integrate elements of Nature in your life to promote healing. My coursework has also taught me to look at the bigger picture of mental health and address the systems that divide us, trap us into thinking we are not enough, or that we are to blame for what happens to us. We do not have to conform to social constructs, and it is okay to move away from what no longer serves you if that aligns with your therapeutic goals.
I will invite clients to relearn and/or reframe some of the false narratives they have been made to believe. People do not need to view themselves as an apology, we are all humans who are doing their best with the tools we have. Your story matters, and how you write it is your choice. I’m always open to thinking outside of the box, and I love to hear about what makes you, you. I vow to remain open-minded, curious, non-judgmental, compassionate, and respectful to all of the parts and identities that you embody.
I love being outdoors, and I believe we all need time with Nature to regulate our nervous systems and feel part of something bigger than ourselves. I also love spending time with my pets (2 dogs and a cat), cooking, live music, ecstatic dance, houseplants, and yoga.
