My Bio

Hello! My name is Christen and I am finishing up my MSW degree at Arizona State University. I received my Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminal Justice as well as an MBA. My academic goal is to receive my Doctor of Psychology Degree in Criminology and Justice Studies. I am a military veteran as well as an Active-Duty Army Spouse. It’s been amazing having the opportunity to travel with my family and experience different environments and cultures. My favorite hobby is reading psychological thrillers and my favorite authors include Kiersten Modglin and Freida McFadden. I also enjoy writing, meditation, yoga, reiki, and anything to do with Metaphysical Science.

I have an immense passion for social justice, criminology, law studies, spirituality, and equality. I have been working in the field of mental health since 2010. My goal as a therapist is to create a welcoming and objective approach to clients. I pride myself on my ability to create the most calming and objective therapeutic environment possible for every client. Everyone, no matter the circumstances, deserves the opportunity to obtain a meaningful and effective healing experience. I have experience working with survivors of crime, military sexual assault, sexual assault advocacy, crisis stabilization, sex offenders, sexual dysfunction, combat-related trauma, anxiety and panic disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, personality and mood disorders, and Agoraphobia. My approaches to the therapeutic experience are tailored to the unique needs of every individual client. I believe every life experience is unique and I build treatment plans based on the individual needs of every client. I look forward to helping you through your life’s journey while learning more about your own personal and unique experiences!
