Statement of Solidarity

Centuries of systemic oppression, racial and economic injustice, and countless acts of violence against our BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities have contributed to our current state of affairs and cannot be hidden or dismissed. The cornerstone of our ability to move unitedly forward rests on the individual and collective acceptance and acknowledgement of these painful truths.

We are committed to providing a safe space; one that fosters open and honest communication, the opportunity to fully express oneself, and the promotion of equity, inclusivity, and equality. We commit to being an advocate for our black and brown colleagues, clients and neighbors. We commit to being an active ally for our LGBTQ+ family and marginalized community members. We commit to supporting any and all movements whose purpose is to promote justice, protection, and the visibility of rights for all humans.

ITTC condemns all acts of oppression. We share the collective responsibility to bring awareness to acts of prejudice, discrimination, or behaviors that lead to further minimization of our marginalized communities. Our clinicians and staff are devoted to supporting and uplifting our BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community members and incorporate these values and beliefs into our practice and treatment of all people.

We honor your voices, we see you, we hold space for you, and we stand with you.
