ITTC is an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) with the National Board for Certified Counselors, which is honored by several other licensing boards. We provide ongoing training and educational opportunities for professionals in a variety of disciplines both locally and internationally. Below is a list of some continuing education opportunities offered. We are able to travel to your business as well as at our location in Portland, OR. Please contact us if you have a specialized need, have questions about pricing or dates, or are interested in arranging a training for your business.

  • Multicultural Trauma Training~Kigali, Rwanda Next Training June 2019
    Approved 38 contact hours through the NBCC.

For professionals who are passionate about trauma-related disorders, learning in a multicultural context and travel! Learn from what is now the safest country in Africa and its’ unique capacity to recovery from genocide in 1994. Efforts towards reconciliation, nation building and research are ongoing in this highly resilient and beautiful country. Safari is included in this program, although safari does not count towards CE hours approved by the NBCC

Number of CE hours dependent upon training length. Training length can be adapted to the needs of each business. Appropriate for:

  • Legal professionals
  • Mental Health Professionals
  • Organizations including churches, hospitals, schools or universities
  • Anyone working with survivors or want to work with the general population with increased awareness and sensitivity.

Businesses all kinds and mental health professionals can benefit from learning how to work from a trauma-informed perspective. Environmental considerations, how to work with survivors of trauma in a safe and well-paced manner, and developing an understanding of trauma symptoms can increase effectiveness in working with all people, not exclusively those who have experienced trauma!

Working Creatively with Dissociative Disorders
